As former Events Director and head of the Equity Pitch sessions my role was to organize talks with guest speakers, the Christmas Ball, socials and the weekly meetings with the Equity Research team. I was also the team captain of the societies 7-a-side football team, negotiating a £300 sponsorship paying for all our expenses for the year.I have organized carriers talks with an ex Goldman Sachs guest speaker and speakers from UBS and PwC. As head of the Equity Pitch sessions, I taught the society members how to evaluate and pitch stocks to the society virtual fund on the Equity Pitch Nights.

I have been an active member of the Finance & Trading Society since the first week of my university studies, over the three years in Cardiff I have learned the basics of trading, the use of Bloomberg terminals and valuation of stocks in the Trading Academy. I have also been one of the journalists for the society magazine (F&T Magazine).

I was a summer logistics intern at OTX Logistics Hungary. It was my task to prepare the price calculation of all tender and non-tender export shipments of National Instruments Hungary and to communicate with all Hungarian and International 3PL firms involved. I helped in the planning of a new routing-system for imported goods (examining different airports used as hubs for greater speed through the supply chain of National Instruments Hungary). I also helped in drafting the upcoming year's events logistics tender contract for transportation of NI products to electronics expos through Europa.I regularly used software like TracknTrace (by OTX), Cargowise One, TimoCom and MS Office.

The three months I spent at Bravophone as an intern was highly beneficial. I developed new skills like the use of Octopus Inventory Software and bettered existing ones like MS Office, teamwork and research. One of my summer-long individual projects was to prepare a presentation to the senior management, to show the research I did on the changes in the global smartphone market. I also gained a great insight into how a large office works on day-to-day bases and how team-work is key to success.
