In my role at the LEGO Group I serve as the global head of employment tax. As such I lead all aspects relating to employment taxation from a global corporate perspective. This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating employment tax risks and supporting the design and creation of processes and controls. Further I provide guidance on tax implications concerning employee benefits, compensation, worker classification to ensure that employment tax considerations are integrated into broader company strategies and processes.

As an External Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, I had the privilege of teaching the course ''Tax Law'' to aspiring legal minds pursuing their master’s degree in law. The course covered essential aspects of general tax law, including a wide array of topics, like:The intricacies of income tax for individuals, independent contractors, and corporate entities, including the unique considerations for main shareholders as well as landscape of inheritance and gift tax laws.

In my capacity as a global mobility tax consultant at both Vialto Partners and PwC, I advised clients on various topics which includes individual taxation, immigration and social security-related matters. As such I helped clients to navigate the implications of having employees move across borders from both the employee and employer’s perspective. Beyond my client work I held the following areas of responsibility; o Process and outsourcing champion: I was responsible for process optimization and general upskilling of our dedicated team in Poland (approx. 30 employees). In my role as the team lead from Denmark we worked to build synergies and thus contiously improve collaboration between our teams. o Subject matter specialist on various topics including investment income, LTI-remuneration and shadow payroll process. o Team-lead for our group of legal trainees.o Project lead for various tech and process-related initiatives.o Responsible for establishing and maintaining GDPR compliant protocols in my business unit.
