- Contract, terms, cost negotiations and maintenance of vendor files - Work closely with Project Management on quoting and purchasing parts and equipment for large project BOM’s - Ensure all technical requirements are verified and approved by technical management before creating and processing purchase orders - Follow up on all Purchase orders and ensuring that they are received JIT and in good order - Inventory control monitoring and maintenance on daily basis and creating BOM’s for kits - Data entry into ACCPAC inventory management system and system maintenance - Setting up equipment including serial numbers in the system - Ensure all equipment is CSA tested and certified - Cycle counts and inventory variance investigation - Maintenance of MIN/MAX levels for all inventoried items - Processing and expediting purchase orders for parts required by service department and inventory - Receiving and shipping parts and equipment to and from suppliers and clients Worldwide - Processing necessary customs documents for all shipments - Work together with suppliers and customers to find the most cost effective ways of shipping - Arrange crane services for unloading of shelters purchased for projects - Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies
