In my role at OTC I managed both internal Quality team responsibilities and broader company-wide tasks. The Senior required expertise in Quality SOP implementation and taught me the value of communication to align expectations with leaders and external departments.My daily duties involved:- Creating product specification sheets - Investigating & resolving customer feedback- Overseeing inspections- Preparing statements for vendor payments- Recommending product improvements- Scheduling time with leaders and teams throughout OTC to align expectations.- Continually inquire on process changes outside the department which influence the quality team. At Bobcat of Omaha I created and implemented coordinated marketing efforts to expand the brand of while maintaining and elevating current customer expectations. During my time there I became a one-man marketing team for socials. I coordinated scheduling, designing, filming, photographing and editing branded content while ensuring it was optimized for multiple social channels in order to maximize impact.Key duties and efforts included:- Developing focused Google Ads with strenuous A/B testing on new products- Creating and sourcing ad placement through traditional channels- Coordinated targeted outreach for advertising new product lines and company events- Designed new promotional materials to align with changing corporate design standards- Increased social media presence and engagement- Personally designed communication material and maintenance cheat sheets for top clients- Filmed and edited sponsored events- Developed, filmed and edited evergreen material for use on Bobcat of Omaha social channels

While at Bobcat of Omaha I wore many hats under the Parts Specialist appellation. While primarily serving as a customer-facing parts specialist, I also provided support for a Bobcat telematics program. Those responsibilities included:- Answering Incoming calls expeditiously- Pulling, labeling and boxing part requests- Outbound coordination for part orders utilizing FedEx, UPS and ASAP- Receive parts in accurately and separate stock from orders- Operate machinery regularly to handle stock and receive stock from semi trailers- Offer suggestions on maintenance parts as well as minor diagnostics- Following up on preventative maintenance alerts delivered from the machine to our dealership- Answering general questions on preventative maintenance- Converting these alerts into parts/service sales- When service is needed, coordinate with our service department for follow-up on in-person or field technician visits to perform the maintenance.

While serving at first glance may not seem relevant to many professional careers, serving at Lazlo's was a defining point in my professional life. A fast-paced skill-based position such as serving taught me to prioritize the necessary information I needed to perform as timely and professionally as possible. This is one of the key takeaways from this position I keep with me that reminds me to continue to be customer-focused at all times. In addition, the serving team heavily utilizes a teamwork-based strategy where the 'entire dining room is your section'. This mentality has shaped my view on customer service. It taught me there is no task that is outside my purview if it means giving a guest a memorable dining experience.Further examples of learned skills and ethic builders from my time at Lazlo's include, but are not limited to:• Constant communication with teammates• Prioritizing necessary information over cluttering communication with non-essential information• Leading a team of servers by example every shift, in addition to coaching through one-on-one training• Prioritizing daily duties, often minute by minute, in order to provide an outstanding customer experience to each guest• Importance of fostering and reinforcing a company culture you believe in• Maintaining a high level of standards in all aspects of a position

Over the course of six weeks, myself and four other interns created a new health and wellness initiative for Special Olympics Nebraska, valued at over $100,000 worth of pro bono work. The purpose of this initiative is to draw attention to a disparaging lack of attention given to special Olympians own upkeep of physical health. The team at SONE found that a disproportionate number of special Olympic athletes either used tobacco or alcohol over the average consumption rate. There was a disconnect between being an athlete but making unhealthy decisions.As a team, we developed a concept to combat this by putting the impetus in the athlete's hands with the tagline 'I'm a fan of me.' This drives home the point that the only way the athlete will adopt healthy choices is to become a fan of their own physical well-being. We combined this idea with reminder techniques, gamifying the solution through small victories, as well as a comprehensive literature and follow-up initiative to continue athlete's successes.Our program concept was met with a very positive reaction, and subsequently implemented. An iteration of our concept is still in use today at https://www.sone.org/beyond-sports/health/I provided structure, strategy, and a thorough promotional plan for the program as a whole and offered insight on how to effectively implement advertising materials. Samples of my contribution are below, including a sample layout from an accompanying 'Welcome' booklet for each athlete who opted in to the program.
