Executed implementation of client projects according to the role assigned (Technical Leader or Implementation Eng.) Implementation Eng. to support upgrade activity of CUCM infrastructure of Ecopetrol to version 8.6(2). The cluster is composed of 9 nodes and provides service to approximately 12,000 users Implementation Eng. in project to deploy LAN Network for Medios Building of BBVA Bank. Executed tasks related to post-sales support of the Tellabs 8600 Managed Edge System equipment line, which was used by several customers (mobile operators). Some of these tasks included preventative and corrective maintenance, installation supervision, acceptance tests, and remote support. Monitored post-sales support service of the Tellabs 8100 Managed Access System equipment line. Participated in post-sales support tasks for the Tellabs 6300 Managed Transport System equipment line. This refers mainly to monitoring the performance of the equipment installed in customer’s network as well as installing new nodes.Executed administrative tasks related to managing remote support personnel, which were assigned to different cities in the country. This includes coordinating, monitoring activity, managing billing, etc.

Supported the plan for the GSM network expansion by creating pre-design and engineering of microwave links in order to provide a transmission solution to stations that are nearly live. Participated in optimization plan of transmission network, mainly in the availability increase project for BTS. Developed business plans focused on expanding the UMTS network based on specific scenarios of the transmission network and definition of final transmission solutions for Node Bs. Attended equipment presentations and workshops offered by different vendors like Ericsson, Huawei, NEC, Nera, Nokia Siemens Networks, RAD, ZTE, and more.Gained understanding of how a mobile phone company functions, including policies, regulations, financials, vendor relationships, etc. More specifically, I learned numerous methods for the design and planning of networks to provide mobile telecommunication services.
