About Daniel Bunselmeyer
My professional experience includes two summers of construction engineering with the Illinois Dept. of Transportation, and from April 2013 until November 2014 with the hospital design-build firm HBE, and December 2014 to now with TME, LLC. At HBE I saw how a building, specifically a hospital, is designed from "the ground up", from preliminary submittals sent to the governing authority to inter-departmental coordination meetings. HBE being a design build firm, I also experienced the responsibilities of a construction firm after design has finished, from change orders to code issues. Most importantly, I saw the unbelievable coordination required between all parties involved to make for a successful construction project. I have a solid understanding of the mathematics and engineering behind design methods used to design piping and mechanical systems. I am also well versed in several forms of software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Office. My first goal is to constantly be able to provide for my family, no matter it's size, with my career. That includes health insurance, reasonable hours, and salary. My second and most short term goal is to attain the title of Professional Engineer in as many states as is needed for my company as soon as possible. My third and most open ended goal is to constantly expand my knowledge and expertise. Complacency is something that I feel has no place in any area of my life, especially in something as dynamic as engineering and as important as my livelihood. Broadening of one's horizons is never negative.
Listed skills include Autocad, Revit, Mechanical Engineering, Cad, and 13 others.
