My cranes experience is quite in depth and it has given me a genuine foothold in working from the ground up when supervising and delegating tasks, roles, and priorities around site. I can demonstrate the list of machinery I am well versed in operating.I have been in operation with cranes and rigging for 20+ years and thoroughly enjoy the further responsibilities that my supervising roles have afforded me:- Daily, weekly, and long-term planning, coordinating, and remaining flexible with jobs, crew and changing client requirements- Implementing and delivering daily toolbox and safety meetings- Conducting spot checks on equipment to ensure ongoing quality assurance- Working harmoniously with the procurement team to engage further contracts- Reading and interpreting all plans, along with other department supervisors, to be able to then provide technical advice and feedback on completing safe and efficient works- Mentoring and encouraging crane operators and riggers, as well as contractors and casual staff to work in strict compliance with Australian Standards and Specifications. I have full knowledge of required PPE, HSE and the confidence to expect consistent observation of environmental and local regulations and rules- I take pride in being an encouraging and firm supervisor. I work from the ‘tools up’, completely understanding the basic requirements of the role, and applying specialty advice and an experienced eye over all projectsI am a Gladstone local and I am very keen to continue this trajectory within my career.
