Design Manager for this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project to relocate the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant to enable development of the last brownfield site in Cambridge into new homes and commercial premises. Responsible for the overall design, engineering and other associated works from inception to completion of outline design and submission of the Development Consent Order (DCO) on this £227m high-profile project.

Research internship looking into the resilience of healthcare facilities. Responsibilities were to look into structural and operational resilience of healthcare facilities to natural disasters, using computer models and a number of international and national case studies. The work formed part of a wider research project and culminated in a design guide.

Site Agent and Engineer working on water and wastewater treatment and pipeline sites. Responsible for day to day running of the site including ordering materials and plant, programming work and monitoring progress and health and safety. As an engineer responsible for setting out all civil works and looking after sections of the work on site.
