• Maintain cash receipts and disbursements journal for corporate clients• Perform monthly bank reconciliations• Post adjusting journal entries

• Prepare daily and monthly Net Asset Value packages for a $4 billion Hedge Fund• Evaluate trades and confirmations for settlement• Verify month end market prices for all open positions• Calculate monthly partner allocations, including incentive and management fee calculations

• Perform financial statement audits of multiple engagements for non-public entities including Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, Master-Feeder funds• Supervise, direct, and monitor associate staff and interns on multiple engagements simultaneously• Responsible for all aspects of audit and non-audit engagements, including planning, budgeting, scheduling and final report presentation, including the preparation of combined financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules• Work closely with Grant Thornton’s internal valuation group in auditing valuations of Level II and III investments, including models • Plan engagement objectives and develop an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risks relating to a client’s industry, key performance drivers, business trends and industry developments• Knowledge of the accounting for domestic and foreign equities, foreign exchange contracts• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, including, but not limited to, ASC Topic 820 (Fair Value Measurement)• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year• Develop and lead internal staff trainings on audit methodologies, firm policies, firm tools and new regulations • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback• Monitor the engagement team’s progress against the planned timeline/budget and alter it when needed
