Effective communication is essential for organizing tasks and fulfilling business requirements within a project's assessed scope. Working for many industries over the last 20 years, I have effectively researched, analyzed, developed, and implemented multiple projects of different domains for the military and civilian sectors. Teamwork, accountability, and integrity were ingrained in me during my eight years enlisted in the Army. I carried these core values into the private sector, and after attaining a BS in computer science I changed my career to software development. Over a decade later, I am using the skills and values learned from my experiences to shift careers again. The abundance of uncommon knowledge, continuous volatile events, and a rapidly evolving landscape first attracted me to cybersecurity. The challenges this industry faces and the attacks people endure from malicious actors keep me motivated to help fill the necessary gaps and progress security research into the future.
