Perform Detailed design and project implementation for the start to finish of over a dozen projects, with individual project cost ranging from $70,000-$500,000.

Perform maintenance and longwall retreat and advancement at the face of the mine (where the coal is directly being mined) under strict safety guidelines:• Perform required tasks and maintenance of the shields along the long wall to prevent the collapse of the mine ceiling• Operate the head gate along the wall to crush coal and deposit onto the belts, and expertly move the shields as mining progresses• Operate heavy equipment, such as skid steer and scoop to perform preventative maintenance and clean up inside the mine • Underground MSHA certified

Perform manual labor, maintenance, and husbandry of working livestock farm:• Perform general farm duties such as repairing/installing fence, moving and baling hay, irrigating and applying fertilizer or chemicals as needed, and basic grounds care• Provide general care to livestock by feeding, providing direct health care, and assisting with breeding, calving, branding, and selling animals.• Safely operate vehicles and farm machinery such as pick-up trucks, tractors, riding mowers, plows, ATVs, and bobcats. Often performing routine mechanical maintenance to vehicles and equipment• Safely operate farm equipment such as post augers, post drivers, portable power tools such as gas-operated power tools, sprayers, trimmers, and chain-saws, electrically operated drills and saws, and gas or electrically operated welders while following operator instructions and wearing appropriate safety equipment.
