My duty as a design intern included assisting the architect, Neil Hall, and studio manager, John West, with all aspects of architectural work. My duties and responsibilities include maintaining project files, conducting research on construction sites such as zoning laws and regulations, and preparing presentations for clients. The firm focused on single family residences and commercial/hospitality projects.

A short term internship for Florida International University. I worked directly beneath architect and professor Nick Gelpi. I collaborated with the architect to create study models and mockups for designs from the studio - Gelpi Projects.

I was in charge of schematic design under the supervision of architects at the firm. Tasks such as drafting demolition plans and proposals was another part of my duty in the office. I was also in charge of creating construction documents, and providing site analysis. The small office also allowed me to attend plan reviews with the building department.
