I am a research scientist with over eight years of experience collecting, cleaning, synthesizing, and reporting on large and complex datasets, as well as conducting randomized controlled trials. I have a strong track record of receiving extramural funding, collaborating, and publishing with researchers from a variety of fields as well as successfully mentoring and supervising students. My research focus is to discern how lifestyle interventions such as exercise and sleep health can promote healthy neurocognitive aging across the lifespan through the use of various behavioral, physiological, and neuroimaging techniques. Having both professional and personal experience with aging, healthcare, and Alzheimer's disease, I hope to leverage my research to help improve our healthcare system and the quality of life of aging individuals, their caregivers, and loved ones.

National Research Training Fellow, Computation And Mathematics For Biological NetworksNational Science Foundation (Nsf) Aug 2020 - Sep 2021A National Science Foundation-funded Research Traineeship (NRT) program in Network Biology at the University of Maryland.COMBINE immerses graduate students in interdisciplinary research and training that integrates quantitative modeling methods from physics and mathematics with data processing, analysis, and visualization tools from computer science to gain deeper insights into the structural and dynamical principles governing living systems. Participants utilize a network-based, data-driven approach, focusing on how interaction patterns can give insights into complex biological phenomena. COMBINE prepares students to become experts in the process of transforming raw biological data into useful information from which new biological insights can be inferred, positioning them to pursue a range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers at the nexus of the computer, physical, and life sciences. -
