The Order Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that orders are received, processed, and delivered to customers accurately and on time. They are responsible for reviewing orders, entering data into systems, coordinating with production, and shipping and providing customer service as needed.Responsibilities1. Order Processing* Processes all incoming orders according to department guidelines and policies. (Sales orders and Back orders)* Prints and processes all orders from Website immediately and continues checking and fulfilling all day* Review order forms to ensure they contain all pertinent information.* Enter order data accurately into Sage 100.* Verify the accuracy of customer orders* Identify back-ordered or out-of-stock items with attention to detail. Coordinate with shipping and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.2. Shipping and Receiving* Prepare packages for shipping or delivery.* Apply proper labels to packages.* Ship all orders within Starship shipping program.3. Customer Invoicing* Generate invoices for completed orders.* Ensure accuracy in invoicing details.* Communicate with customers regarding any billing inquiries or discrepancies.- Run Credit Cards as needed4. Quality and Productivity* Meet quality, productivity, and turnaround time expectations.* Contribute to improving department capabilities, including scalab processes, documentation, and metrics.* Engage effectively with inter-company departments.
