As a Training Director at TVTC Safety Training Centers, I lead the development and delivery of safety and health training programs for workers and employers in the commercial, industrial and construction sectors. I collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and instructors to design and implement engaging and effective training solutions that meet their needs and expectations. I have over 20 years of experience in the environmental, health and safety (EHS) field which includes working as a Plant EHS Manager , Construction leader including Safety and Operational roles, before joining TVTC Safety Training Centers. I continue to sharpen the tools obtained through my military experience and merchant marine experience. I have strong skills in leadership development, workplace safety, industrial safety, EHS policies and procedures, audits and inspections, and training design and delivery. I am also an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. I have numerous certifications that I have earned in my pursuit of "always learning, always engaging". My core competencies include leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation. My mission is to promote a culture of safety and health among workers and employers, assist in developing leaders at all levels, and to improve the EHS standards and practices in the Gulf Coast region and beyond.
