• Perform Forensic video recovery from recorded CCTV systems at transit centers, on-board bus, light rail train vehicles, and train platform based surveillance systems to be used as digital evidence. • Work closely with police department investigators to identify and recover evidentiary video.• Management of installed Metro Transit intrusion detection alarm systems to include the contract for the alarm systems monitoring and service Metro Transit wide.• Issuing and management of access system, and card access badges for over 3500 Metro Transit employees and contractors.• Installation, maintenance and management of all digital IP CCTV systems, card access and burglar alarm systems throughout the Metro Transit facilities.• Collaborate with Police and Met Council Internal Audits related to internal investigations. • Manage the annual operating budget of $850,000 including assisting with developing annual budget requests and approving all expenditures.• Initiate procurement processes including developing Scopes of Work and Contract Initiation Memos, requests for quotes, RFP's, evaluating bid documents and awarding contracts. • Managing the capital improvement budget including submitting documentation for grant applications for both formula funds and Homeland Security funding in excess of $250,000 per year. • Collaborate with Engineering and Facilities, and the New Starts Project Offices on the required security needs for new projects/facilities to include card access, burglar alarm systems, Medeco door locks, CCTV.• Supervises the Asset Protection staff of 3 employees, direct work assignments, conduct annual performance evaluations.• Write policy and procedure in collaboration with Asset Protection staff. • Assist with updating the FTA required annual SEPP security plan, and implementing periodic external security assessment corrective action plans.
