Assist high school age students, at Dakota County Technical College, in individual and class room learning opportunities, monitor and model positive behavior and safety for students, mentor students in the classroom setting, assist with adapting and modifying learning materials, and activities to facilitate student learning objectives, obtaining resources to supplement curriculum, and perform related work. Implementing instructional plans and carry out appropriate learning activities for assigned students in designated classroom's in the following programs: Construction Trades, Computer Networking/Repair, Graphic Communications, Total Auto Care, Heavy Duty Truck, Career Exploration and work seminars.. Designated Substitute Teacher in these programs when the Career Teacher is on leave.

• Perform Forensic video recovery from recorded CCTV systems at transit centers, on-board bus, light rail train vehicles, and train platform based surveillance systems to be used as digital evidence. • Work closely with police department investigators to identify and recover evidentiary video.• Management of installed Metro Transit intrusion detection alarm systems to include the contract for the alarm systems monitoring and service Metro Transit wide.• Issuing and management of access system, and card access badges for over 3500 Metro Transit employees and contractors.• Installation, maintenance and management of all digital IP CCTV systems, card access and burglar alarm systems throughout the Metro Transit facilities.• Collaborate with Police and Met Council Internal Audits related to internal investigations. • Manage the annual operating budget of $850,000 including assisting with developing annual budget requests and approving all expenditures.• Initiate procurement processes including developing Scopes of Work and Contract Initiation Memos, requests for quotes, RFP's, evaluating bid documents and awarding contracts. • Managing the capital improvement budget including submitting documentation for grant applications for both formula funds and Homeland Security funding in excess of $250,000 per year. • Collaborate with Engineering and Facilities, and the New Starts Project Offices on the required security needs for new projects/facilities to include card access, burglar alarm systems, Medeco door locks, CCTV.• Supervises the Asset Protection staff of 3 employees, direct work assignments, conduct annual performance evaluations.• Write policy and procedure in collaboration with Asset Protection staff. • Assist with updating the FTA required annual SEPP security plan, and implementing periodic external security assessment corrective action plans.

• Managed the Eagan site security forces providing physical security in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual and compliance with UL 2050 certification as a Government Contractor Monitoring Station - Security Operations Center. • Management of Security guard contracts at 13 sites including budgeting, invoice audit review, security officer retention and training,• Security investigations including work place violence, loss of personal property, accidents, and Government security matters resulting in mitigation and prevention of incidents and losses. • Develop and evaluate contract security force Request for Proposals and Statements of Work for Lockheed Martin sites nationwide. • Fulfill site Liaison role to local law enforcement/fire department leadership. Coordinate activities of patrol cars, community based emergency responders, CCTV and communications systems. • Establish security inspections and implemented procedures and standards to enhance site physical security. • Public speaking in a variety of forums including security education awareness briefings for new hires, Annual security briefing requirements, ASIS and NCMS meeting presentations. • Execute Project Management oversight on Smart card upgrade to legacy card access system, security operations center upgrades, and enhanced security alarm and CCTV upgrades at the Lockheed Martin Eagan facility avoiding the capital investment in a new replacement access card and Security system. • Business Continuity Planning/Pandemic planning as security lead of the site Business Continuity team enabling corporate preparedness business resiliency efforts to return the business to profitability. • Institute Crisis Management Plan oversight: developing plan implementation, training the senior leadership. • Manage Executive Protection including armed presence at the Eagan site facility. Extensive training in workplace violence and situational response tactics.
