As a freelance design strategist I create Web- and print-ready, highly effective solutions for clients' graphic design and communication needs. Stress is on effectiveness. Samples of my design and production work are on my Website and a few are here in my profile.

Primarily responsible for the bi-monthly design and production of the PCTA's 32-page full-color glossy membership magazine. I also handle media requests for images, maintain our Website's photo gallery, and produce many other print or Web-related materials as needed.

I was hired as a Production Artist and eventually promoted to the position of Senior Trainer - responsible for the design and implementation of the company's production artist training program.

I was responsible for the production of all the agency's print-ready files based on Art Director designs or concepts. I was also responsible for pre-pressing freelance artists' files so that they, too, were print-ready.

This was my first - entry level - job as a production artist. No computers, just an X-acto knife, Compugraphic typesetter, and a wax machine. We produced some first-rate work.
