I am a Localisation Specialist and Translator (German/Spanish>English), with experience working as the head of UK Localisation for a global betting firm. I am adept at writing copy, translating texts and localising translated texts. Whilst my main area of expertise relates to sport and the gaming industry, I have extensive experience with a range of other subjects. I work daily with numerous types of text, including marketing correspondence, advertising scripts, dynamic website content, learning and development materials, reports and briefs. This has given me an insight into writing eye-catching headlines, editing succinct copy and identifying and communicating the crux of a good story. I have published articles for Bath Impact magazine on global politics—drawing on my experience of international travel to Chile, Peru, Argentina and Germany, as well as knowledge acquired through my University studies. My published articles have covered a range of subjects, from 'Does Hillary actually trump Donald for equality?' to 'Turkey: The Nation of Silent Genocides'. I have also written about the opinions of Chilean citizens towards foreign policy, based on research obtained while studying in Chile.
