For almost 4 years, I was responsible for the daily operations of this vibrant and fast paced Asian fusion restaurant in Belfast city centre. This involved ensuring that the kitchen, bar and front of house were all working as a team. Other important duties involved, recruitment, food and beverage training, motivating and ultimately managing the staff. I was responsible for implementing the weekly rotas and the daily cash up analysis.A big part of my role here was also managing customer requirements to the highest standard under pressurised time periods. This required excellent organisational and time management skills.

I worked directly under the Restaurant Manager to assist in the daily operations of a very busy and well established Restaurant.I was responsible for training a team of 15-20 Front of House staff to an excellent standard. Those standards were maintained and constantly improved upon to ensure the restaurant was moving in the right direction.Other responsibilities included, cash handling and balancing, social media, liaising with payroll officer and stock rotation.

This was a massive achievement for myself and a major motivational boost to excel in my everyday work.
