Direct responsibility for the operations and upkeep of the flagship marina in the NYC Parks system. The facility has 118 slips and approximately 80 moorings and hosts vessels up to 180’. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance of two mooring fields, towing and movement of floating dock systems utilizing several work boats, installation and repair of water and electrical systems, coordination and scheduling of large yacht arrivals and departures and supervision of seasonal employees. Additional duties include liaising with other city agencies using the facility including FDNY and NYPD as well as coordination with the NYC parks media office regarding use of the facility for film and television productions.

While working a contract with Honda Motors of North America as part of a repossession team, vehicles assigned for repossession were located via searches of the residence, work address and other addresses located through investigative techniques. Our area of operations included Long Island, NYC and surrounding metro NY, NJ and CT. Within NYC and other urban areas, plate scanning equipment was frequently utilized to locate target vehicles on city streets. Proprietary methods allowed us to start target vehicles and drive them to impound without use of a tow truck.

-Work primarily aboard the Capt. Eddie B III, a 65 foot charter fishing vessel. I also work as a substitute mate aboard the 65 foot charter vessel Taryn-Ann and the 75 foot Dixie II as well as any other vessel at Captree in need of crew.-Responsible for all aspects of preparation of the vessel before fishing and party cruises including such duties as preparation of bait and tackle as well as routine cleaning and maintenance of the vessel after cruises.-Primary responsibility for customer service during fishing trips including providing instruction and needed assistance in fishing, fixing and maintaining tackle, netting or gaffing fish, filleting fish, and settling the pool at the end of each trip.-Personally completed and filed all required NMFS, NOAA and DEC paperwork related to fishing trips aboard the Capt. I had been employed intermittently over the last ten years to augment permanent staff during bi-weekly auto auctions and to assist in the appraisal of vehicles, equipment and property. I was employed on a consultative basis to assist in the appraisal of all real property and chattels owned by a major area construction corporation including but not limited to, individual vehicle condition reports, appraisals and the construction of Excel spreadsheets compiling data for the bulk appraisal. This project is the largest appraisal completed in the history of the company. I then served for several months as full time acting manager of auto auction operations with responsibility for custody of vehicles in auction inventory, completion of vehicle condition reports and appraisals, creation of auction catalogs and staff management during bi-weekly auctions. I was most recently employed as an auction coordinator, responsible for organizing inspections of auction properties, lotting of items prior to auctions, assisting in the auction process and supervising the removal of purchased auction lots by customers.

I was hired during in the final stage of a large Parking Garage project in Hicksville NY and worked on the completion of drainage, curbs and sidewalks. I was then transferred to Montauk Highway in East Patchogue to begin a large forced main sewer project in October 2010. During this project I conducted plastic pipe fusion tutorials, completed excavation of test pits to locate utilities, completed site surveying and supervised a directional drilling crew. I was also tasked with driving company utility/box trucks hauling building materials, asphalt and excavated material between different job sites throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

School trained as field wireman and a Unit Level Circuit Switch (SB-3865 and AN/TTC-42) operator and cross trained at the unit level as a radio operator on the SINCGARS series manpack radios as well as the AN/PSC-5 Portable SATCOM terminal. I was meritoriously promoted to LCpl in August 2000 for graduating first in my MOS school class. I deployed to Kuwait/Iraq between February and August of 2003 with A Company 6th Communications Battalion. I was attached to B Company 9th Communications Battalion during this deployment to operate and maintain voice and data switchboard systems throughout the theater of operations during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. During this time I was assigned responsibility for a number of AN/TTC-42 Telephone Switchboard Vans which provided telephone service between Camp Commando, Kuwait and forward units moving across Iraq. Following this deployment I continued to drill as a reservist and was Honorably Discharged on September 16th 2007 with the rank of Corporal.

-Supervised night ramp closures of Long Island Expressway exits including nightly installation of traffic protection devices and security of entrance ramps. (Sept and Oct 2006)-Installed necessary calcium patches, new drainage and under-bed sealant during the repaving of the Long Island Expressway between exits 39 and 53. (Oct 2006 through May 2007)-Worked from start to finish on the restoration of several earth and concrete highway bridges on the Southern State Parkway and Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway including removal of degraded concrete and replacement on the top and bottom of the bridges, water-proofing, new asphalt, and installation of striping and guardrails.(May through Aug 2007)

-Worked with several different construction crews on a variety of heavy construction projects in various locations across Long Island and New York City.-Primary experience in municipal water system construction/maintenance, municipal gas system construction/maintenance and underground telephone systems repair.-Additional experience in asphalt paving, concrete, and excavation.-Certified in NYS DOT basic traffic safety and control on road construction sites and safety procedures in confined space work.
