Reviewed all team work products.Created system architecture and lead team to design and implement a telematics system for Nissan, using the pSOS real time OS and C running on Motorola PowerPC.Defined communications module strategy for Visteon telematics products supporting GSM, CDMA, AMPS. This involved working with Samsung engineers at their offices in South Korea.

Private company which ran various web related activities including web site creation and web hosting (rentservers.co.uk).The was run on a part time basis along with my full time job contracting work to others as needed.

Created all aspects of a website that allowed you to virtually trade shares in celebrities.This work was done in my spare time (evening and weekends) whilst working full time. The website was very popular with millions of page impressions per month. The web site was able to generate enough revenus to cover it's costs, but not enough to pay me.

Developed a telematics proof of concept system shown at many motor and technology shows. This concept system assisted in securing business for the company. Developed in C and ran on a Motorola HC12 microcontroller.Designed a PC-based simulation environment in Visual C++ to enable software development whilst waiting for target hardware. This successfully reduced overall development time. Wrote system specifications and test plans for a Motorola hands-free phone system for the Ford Focus which integrated with the audio system and steering wheel controls.

Worked with Motorola to develop aftermarket hands-free system for Ford and Jaguar vehicles.

Bid for and won a contract which was successfully completed to develop a PC program to model energy consumption of office buildings, in compliance with the methodology and formula in new building standards.This work was done during my summer vacation whilst at university.
