Over the last 8 years, I have gained considerable experience from working in multiple roles within the wind turbine industry. These roles include;- Technician- Foreman- Crane supervisor- Installation lead - Assistant site managerAs a technician, I have completed installations on multiple turbine types. I have an extensive knowledge of Siemens and Senvion and have experience with other turbine manufacturers (such as various Nordex and GE).Whilst crane supervising, I have worked with a vast number of cranes. These cranes range from 20 tonnes up to 1350 tonnes, and include mobile/tracked cranes, Liebherr/Terex cranes, among many others. I am also skilled in completing complex tandem lifts e.g rotor assembly and rotor installation. I am very confident in completing these tasks safely and have had the opportunity to pass on these skills to my colleagues.As a foreman, I have led different teams through a variety of projects. These teams are usually comprised of 10 men and are for the purposes of main installation. I do also , however, have experience in supervising crews from between 5 to 30 technicians.When working in the role of Installation lead, I am efficient in coordinating transport, crane movements, offloading, prep crews and installation crews to ensure everything falls into place. I am comfortable working with clients, to ensure that we achieve a smooth, running site.
