Lead Avionics Build Technician
*Oversee team of Avionics technicians including designating daily work tasks in line with shift priorities, weekly goals, and vehicle milestones.*Develop harness and integration knowledge in Avionics technicians through training, verification of work performed, and review of any issues found during harness builds and vehicle integration.*Verify harness builds are in accordance with company specifications.*Analyze harness and integration work orders and planning to resolve technical questions raised by technicians during harness builds and on-vehicle work to enable work progress.*Edit harness and integration work orders in relation to changes in parts and planning/instructions.*Communication of required and performed Avionics work to Avionics management and other onsite teams for daily updates of work progress.*AFTS team lead on night shift for integration activities. Involved with AFTS product receiving, inspections, assembly, vehicle integration, product recovery, documentation, and team training.
Avionics Wire Harness Technician
*Fabrication of power/signal harnesses per Avionics specifications including cable layout/bundling, wire preparation, crimping contacts (pins/sockets) onto wires, connector population with contacts, testing harness continuity, water-sealing connectors, wire shield termination, hipot testing, and harness closeout.*Integration of power/signal harness on vehicle including routing of harnesses and mating of harness connectors between electrical components in accordance with work order planning/instructions.*Perform troubleshooting on harnesses and electrical components on vehicle per engineering planning.*Read and interpret documentation such as harness wiring schematics, vehicle layout drawings, and Avionics SOPs and publications to complete harness builds and vehicle integration work.*Operate boom lifts and scissor lifts to get into position for on-vehicle work.
Field Service Engineer
*Provide installation supervision for new projects: including equipment setup, hookup, testing through commissioning process, and oversee electrical and steel subcontractors throughout project.*Provide onsite technical service and maintenance for Daktronics LED displays, scoreboard, sound systems, equipment operating computers and consoles, and other control equipment.*Interface communication equipment (such as Ethernet bridge radios and fiber/Ethernet converters) with customer networks, setup control software on computers and setup/test control racks, and provide training on system control.*Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and computer programs to install and service Daktronics products and related control system equipment, as well as for use during troubleshooting of power and signal issues for electrical components.*Complete online documentation and feedback for onsite service and installations on a daily basis to track work order progress, installation updates for project management, and work time for accounting purposes.*Constant travel across South Texas to cover assigned territory requiring diligent management of time and customer communication.

*Provide H2S safety for on-land oil field locations including gas detection, site monitoring, employee safety training, and mask fit testing.*Perform inspections for toxic atmospheres around work site using gas pricing equipment and SCBAs when required.*Rig up and rig down all monitoring equipment at job location and interact with site supervisor for job completion and documentation sign-offs.*Provide repair, calibration, and maintenance services for H2S equipment (such as gas monitors from BW Technologies and MSA Safety Incorporated).
