Born and educated in the North of England, Daniel began his career in the Architectural industry in 2005 in the UK, and has been practicing in NZ since 2017. As a Registered Architect he is experienced in a range of sectors including; healthcare, commercial, education, religious buildings, and conservation works, with his strongest experience in leading complex multi-storey mixed-use developments and flagship apartment projects.As Studio Leader; Daniel brings strong leadership and strategic relationship skills to his work, coordinating with project teams, contractors, stakeholders, and clients to ensure excellent outcomes for all.Certified as a RICS BIM Project Manager, Daniel has a history of leading BIM coordination and management across complex developments in order to provide a stronger collaboration between disciplines, and produce more integrated results in our projects.Daniel's experience in New Zealand has afforded him exposure to cultural design, working alongside local iwi groups, mana whenua, and Māori artists to coordinate integrated design decisions and aesthetics aligned with Te Aranga principles, Hokai Rangi strategy, and other dedicated cultural guidance and narratives. Daniel believes there is no 'one size fits all' approach in design and relishes the opportunity to work alongside people who can help integrate a bespoke solution representative of the place and culture. Daniel favours innovative, cohesive design solutions and integrated, collaborative results to achieve high-standards of construction, coordination, sustainability, and aesthetics.
