Reconcile the Net Asset Value (NAV) of portfolios on a monthly basis to 3rd parties and external Custodians and Fund Managers.Complete various other daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reconciliations. Eg. Foreign Exchange, international dividend and tax reclaims, cash, assets, unlisted unit trusts, and derivative reconciliations. Ensure that any outstanding items are followed up and cleared in a timely and accurate manner.Complete Physical Audit Review on a quarterly basis.Escalation of any issues or reconciling items that expose the business to risk.Escalation of reconciling items which are large and/ or greater than 30 days to Team Leader or Manager.Ensure continuous training in Smartstream, and other reconciliations within the immediate team and across other teams within Operations Control.Ensure cross-trained in all reconciliation types. Eg. Domestic, International, Tax and Income, Direct Investments, Interfund Reconciliations and Monthly bank account audit.Assist Team Leaders and Managers in training and initiatives.Provide Quality service to internal and external customers.Systems/Applications usedSmartstream (replaced by TLM early 2009)TLMHi PortfolioLotus notes

Attend to all administrative queries in an accurate and timely mannerRecord and communicate all area-related queries from distributors to Area Supervisors for investigationProcess weekly distribution slips and forward to head office in a timely mannerMaintain tax register - calculating tax deductible items and GST on incoming billsEnsure that all bills are paid in a timely mannerMaintain all account and distributor files and records
