• I am responsible for supporting the learning, capability, and knowledge management needs of the Design community of practice (c.400 Designers within LBG). I design interventions, including campaigns, to target and address these needs.• I translate group wide campaigns and initiatives to suit the needs of the Design community and feed Design community needs back to inform central initiatives.• In addition to this role, I am the Conversation Design guild lead, supporting our copywriters and content strategists in deepening their craft and broadening their expertise. I also hold a lead of leads role supporting the other 11 guild leads in the sharing of best practices and in the development of a high performing team.• During Covid-19, I supported our 12 sub-communities of practice (Design guilds) in leveraging MS Teams to move their communities online. I also worked with my learning partners to flex our learning offerings to move sessions from classroom to virtual to support ongoing development.

• I am a member of Lloyds Banking Group's Design team, working as a Content Strategist for our Insurance & Wealth business. • I was responsible for designing and driving the delivery of the content vision, principles and strategies for the Insurance & Wealth (“I&W”) division across LBG’s multiple brands and products. This is leveraged by copywriters across the UK when working on LBG’s I&W design projects.• I partnered with functional teams across the matrix of the organisation (including communications, risk, legal, design and engineering) to tackle business problems whilst keeping the needs of our customers firmly at the centre of our solutions.

As part of EY Knowledge I led a team that designed and delivered global programs for the EY Knowledge organisation focused on activating and embedding a knowledge culture within the organisation. I developed a number of methodologies applied by the culture team and by Knowledge Managers across the organisation. These methods included the: - Awareness Deployment methodology - focused on campaigns and events to raise awareness and ultimately adoption of our various knowledge tools, learnings and behaviours;- E-learning methodology - to support our KMs in navigating the e-learning solutions available to them; and- Learning Needs Analysis Methodology - to ensure that the learning solutions we created were human centred and had the learners and businesses needs firmly at the centre.This passion for human centricity is what drew me to exploring a role in industry in Lloyds Banking Groups's Design business (formerly Human Centred Design)

Before taking on the pan-EY Culture Lead role, I was responsible for designing and delivering the strategy to increase the awareness and adoption of EY’s Tax knowledge tools, resources and knowledge behaviours globally. Key activities included: - A full Tax learning needs analysis for our knowledge priorities which were baked into the tax learning plans (technical learning and soft skills learning).- My solutions reached nearly 40,000 people globally and they learnt about the benefits of our tax knowledge tools in context along with technical learning and soft skills which were fundamental to their success in their roles. - I elevated the value of Knowledge in the eyes of our learning colleagues eyes opening opportunities for us to collaborate.

NQT and Teach First professional mentor – May 2013 – Jan 2014- In addition to a full teaching timetable in my third year of teaching I took on a leadership role, working with leaders to design and deliver a programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for 23 trainee teachers. This included weekly training sessions, observations, ongoing feedback, and formal skills assessment to support the development of our trainee and newly qualified teachers. It started my interesting in adult learning and helping others to hone their crafts.Secondary School Mathematics teacher – July 2011 – Jan 2014- I taught in an inner-city London Secondary School, completing my PGCE and Newly Qualified Teacher training as a Teach First teacher. I continue to support the Teach First charity as an ambassador and coach.

As the client relationship contact for all my clients, I focused on growing accounts from annuity tax compliance engagements to include tax advisory and non-tax services. I have experience in tax compliance, advisory and audit engagements for large UK and multi-national clients. My favourite part of my role was the line management and development of the juniors working for me which began my interest in learning and development and prompted my move into teaching.
