I am a hard-working, reliable person who has gained valuable experience working with education and whilst undertaking my degrees. Looking for an opportunity undertaking research work.o ICT Skills – Gained whilst at University. Comfortable utilising both general office packages such as Windows and also industry specific ones such as Moodleo Communication skills – Exhibited when working as a Learning Support Assistant and also while compiling dissertations at universityo Organisational skills – Developed during my degree and also whilst assisting in Scoutso Interpersonal skills – Illustrated when representing students as a Student Representative but also on a university forumo Working with Children – Having worked and volunteered with children in many settings I believe I am empathetic and resourceful. I have followed policies and procedures and have experience of being DBS checked.o Problem Solving - Displayed during my time as a member of the student forum when I worked within a team to design and deliver an online module on Neurodiversity.As an autistic person with a keen interest in academia, I take an interest in the educational and employment outcomes of neurodiverse students across Wales and the United Kingdom.I've also taken the time to contribute to research projects about neurodiversity and have spoken about my experience of living with a neurodivergence to lecturers and students at the university I studied at. I am keen to explore similar opportunities to share my experience in the future to help improve understanding and awareness of neurodiversity/autism in academia and employment alongside my current responsibilities working full time at the Open University.
