About Daniel Chard

I am an educator, writer, and historian working as Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Western Washington University, where I teaching courses on US history, PNW history, counter/terrorism history, and the Cold War. I am the author of Nixon's War at Home: The FBI, Leftist Guerrillas, and the Origins of Counterterrorism (University of North Carolina Press, Justice, Power and Politics, 2016), co-editor of Science for the People: Documents from America's Movement of Radical Scientists (University of Massachusetts Press, 2018), and my writing has appeared in outlets such as Jacobin, Radical History Review, The Sixties, and Washington Post.
