Manage OEM products commodities , indirect and utilities contracts to support Australia Braking Products for both Melbourne plant & South Australia plant - Manage, develop and improve purchasing process - Control the purchase and supply of all components and services- Make recommendations and advise management on all purchasing issues

Main responsibility to source direct material such as castings and all other commodities for Australia & Thailand Braking Products - Identify & develop new suppliers to source components for global program manufacturing in Thailand- Lead global component sourcing to support other manufacturing plants South America, South Africa and China

Increase OEM responsibility to cover fine blanking, friction commodities to support Australia & Thailand Braking Products- Meet cost target by negotiation or bundling with other Bosch plants requirement- Manage cost reduction activities by reviewing Lean Manufacturing principles and VA/VE ideas with suppliers- Support Engineering to deliver braking products for all three OEM Ford Falcon & Territory, GM Holden VE Commodore & Toyota – Camry

After book shelved all R&D products “E-Park Brake & Electromechanical Braking System – transfer responsibility to OEM products to support Australia & Thailand Braking Products on switch, rubber, cold headed & heavy Pressing commodities - Maintain current suppliers contract and achieve cost down with year on year review - Prepare monthly commodity data to support end of moth Purchasing Report - Conduct new supplier assessment to ensure new suppliers meeting all Purchasing and Quality requirement to supply safety critical components for braking components

Sourcing PCB, Cable Hardness, Electronics components & other (e.g. sensors software) to support advanced R&D team (Pacifica Group Technology) to develop Electromechanical Park Brake System “E-Park Brake” and Electromechanical Braking System “EMB” for Passenger Vehicle application - Work with global suppliers to source the latest technology including hardware and software for the new product application - Part of R&D team to conduct dual diligent for acquisition of latest technology for development of Electromechanical Braking System from Europe- Develop and provide cost model for new product to support Sales to prepare quotations to global car company such as GM, Ford, Chrysler etc.…- Support R&D team - achieve on time delivery and target cost for prototype products of Electromechanical Braking Systems to GM USA.

Sourcing PCB, Cable Hardness, Electronics components & Plastics to support new product for medicine delivery unit- Identify new suppliers and source components to support R&D product development

Sourcing PCB, Cable Hardness, Electronics components & metal work to support sub contract manufacturing for Electronic products e.g. VDO and ARROW (Automotive Industries) - Work with Sales to provide components costing across new potential customers products - Establish components categories matrix including suppliers, pricing & lead time to support Sales quotation for new subcontracting project - Manage suppliers to achieve deliveries of components to meet customers’ requirement timing and cost saving target

Sourcing PCB, Cable Hardness, Electronics components & metal work to support new project FSX 2000 (Telecommunication - Transmission Equipment) for Optus optical fiber network across Australia - Support R&D to develop new suppliers & source FSX 2000 project components to meet project timing/ target cost - Achieve cost reduction for FSX2000 project across spectrum of suppliers

Sourcing PCB, Cable Hardness & Electromechanical components to support Manufacturing of Telecommunication Switching Equipment such as PABX- Select and manage supplier for these component categories- Monitor suppliers production planning and delivery align with MRP II output - Prepare data to support IDA on local content program
