Daniel Chen is currently the Chief of International Affairs Section of the Taipei Bar Association and the Owner of ShineOn Law Office. In his current roles, he oversees a wide range of local and international legal matters and manages his own boutique law firm. Before taking on these positions, he was the senior in-house counsel of the Global Legal Center of Giant Group, which is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world. Additionally, he worked as a lawyer at Winkler Partners, which is distinguished as the first law firm to operate as a partnership between Taiwanese and foreign attorneys.Throughout his career, Daniel has extensive experience in cross-border investment and dispute resolution projects. He has served global multinational corporations as well as foreign and local business clients. His work often involves intensive collaboration with both international and local law firms, ensuring that his clients receive comprehensive legal support.Daniel holds both his LLM and LLB degrees from the College of Law at National Taiwan University, where he received rigorous training and developed a solid foundation in legal principles and practices. As a locally trained attorney with such experiences, he has received consistent international recognition for his cross-border collaboration and communication skills in legal service projects.
