Under limited supervision, I play a leadership role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and smooth operation of information technology systems that support Capital Group's functions. I am responsible for performing or leading in all phases of product engineering and operational lifecycle. This includes research/strategy, requirements/planning, building/testing, and execution/support. I provide expert level assistance in operational functions by applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve complex issues. All of this in order to minimize outage to critical business functions and maximize the benefit of IT systems/investments. I also help occasionally by providing guidance and mentoring to less senior engineers.
