Quext acquired Homebase in September 2023, responsibilities remain the same.

* Homebase was acquired by Quext in September 2023.Responsible for the architecture and development of new features for the iOS applications. Part of the development process includes working directly with the Chief Product Officer on UI/UX design and communicating with peers to help shape the backend. Other responsibilities include assisting with product management, assisting the VP of Engineering when evaluating technologies, and mentorship.Accomplishments:- Set up and maintain the iOS build pipeline on Bitrise to handle nightly builds and schedule weekly releases.- Maintained a 99.98% stability rating of the iOS applications.- Built an intercom App Clip experience that allows guests of residents to gain access to a secure apartment building via single-use pin codes or request access from the mobile directory.

Responsible for developing new features for the iOS applications and sometimes the Android applications. Part of the development process included working directly with the VP of Design on UI/UX design and working with the CTO to make application decisions.Accomplishments:- Built a CoreBluetooth SDK to allow mobile apps to interact with Schlage's Bluetooth-enabled locks. The SDK is used by Walmart for the Walmart+ InHome program for multifamily users.- Built an Apple Watch companion app that utilizes the Bluetooth SDK, providing users another avenue for interacting with locks.- Created a suite of Siri Shortcuts that allows residents to customize the control of their thermostats and lights.

Primarily responsible for writing and maintaining DSI’s Android application utilizing the native Android SDK. In doing so, this developer will work directly with the Manager of Software Development to design and implement applications for DSI’s Android products; specifically, writing and maintaining DSI’s mobile applications, unit testing each application, and documenting how the application works.
