To date I have worked on several major infrastructure projects where I have led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects across a range of sectors. I have responsibility for managing sub-contract packages including all aspects commercial and risk management. When challenged to better programme dates or achieve early completion dates I have always met these deadlines. I also place a great emphasis on Health, Safety and Welfare making sure the works progress safely and listen to / engage with the workforce to ensure they commit to work with a zero tolerance approach. I am currently working on the M1 j13 – 16 Smart Motorway scheme where I lead the Engineering Management Team responsible for design management, engineering, temporary works, value engineering and project handover. My team was responsible for delivering £32million in savings to the project by dissecting all elements of the design and construction processes to maximise efficiency, minimise use of natural resources and delivering a measurable reduction in embedded carbon used in the design.
