- Developing a strategies and tactics to achieve all the financial targets set for the convenience businesses. - Working closely with the operations team and provide the necessary procurement supports.- Leading a team of category managers to manage all the categories listed and acting as the main contact person between category managers and organisation senior management. - Supporting and work closely with all stake holders in all aspects of the business pertaining to procurement strategies to maximize sales, profit and market share.

- Driving financial results for the convenience store categories. - Sourcing, buying, merchandising and attainment of sales, profit budget, market share. - Liaising with suppliers on the negotiation of prices, products and promotions. - Working with business units on operational matters. - Working with Fresh Food Distribution Centre/Purchasing Inventory Team to monitor stock movement ensuring sustainability of supplies and business continuity.

- Managing Beef and Delicatessen category including sourcing, buying and merchandising to grow sales, profit and market share. - Working with overseas partners on import of meat products including negotiation of cost and ensuring product meets specification. - Liaising with suppliers, negotiation of prices and planning promotions. - Working with Fresh Food Distribution Centre/Purchasing Inventory Team to ensure sustainability of supplies/monitor stock movement and business continuity.- Managing concessionaire and consignment counters including sourcing of suitable vendors, negotiation of trading terms to maximise space profitability. - Working with various business unit on operational matters.

- Managing Snacks and Confectionary category including sourcing and buying activities to grow sales, profits and market share.- Developing merchandising plans for stores and reviewed existing items to ensure products remain competitive. - Analysing sales performance and market trends to keep up with customer demand when making purchasing decisions.- Organising and executing effective promotional programs by working closely with internal and external parties.- Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers for best possible value. - Managing demand forecasts and monitored inventory to ensure sufficient stock supply in stores.

- Planning and selecting a range of products to sell in retail outlets by considering factors such as customer demand and market trends when making purchasing decision- Sourcing new merchandise and review existing items to ensure products remain competitive - Maximising profits and provide a commercially viable range of merchandise at competitive prices through understanding customer needs- Keeping up to date with market trends and reacting to changes in market demand

- Representing foreign defence industries to promote and sell their products to local military entities- Managing internal and external customers and coordinating technical and commercial workflow between multiple parties- Identifying and engaging foreign companies for potential collaboration to provide solutions to national security purposes- Managing key overseas accounts and providing local support in project management

- Understanding customers’ businesses and requirements to identify and recommend solutions to facilitate research capabilities- Negotiating variations in price, terms of an agreement and concluding mutually beneficial sales- Participating in local/overseas trade exhibitions and conferences on latest industry developments and technologies- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions- Gathering market and customer information through various promotional methods- Managing key customer accounts from different markets
