As a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces, I gained the experience required to work in a challenging environment with individuals at various levels within the military as well as interacting with the civilian population on a regular basis. During my more than five years with the military I progressed through the ranks and had numerous responsibilities and commendations. This included the directing of 30 airmen per shift in the performance of their duties while serving as desk sergeant. I have served at bases in the United States and overseas which provides me with the background to work with individuals of various cultural backgrounds.
