If I had to use three words to describe what I do, I'd use sound, science, and sustainability.My experience in R&D and materials science has helped me become an innovative solutions provider for Acoustica Pty Ltd, an acoustic engineering company specialising in designing and manufacturing noise control products. As Managing Director, I focus on the sustainability and quality of our products.We're the first company in the country to use recycled polyester as an acoustic material, and we've put more green products into Australian homes and businesses that are kinder to your health and our environment. Recently, we patented the world's first Biofoam material made from waste food components. The cross-linked organic-based polymer is lightweight and has exceptional acoustic properties with a Group 1 fire rating.If you're keen to get started with the science behind acoustics or develop a new product for an existing market, I'd love to hear from you.When I'm not at work trying to find ways to reduce sound, I'm making a lot of noise on my Ducati 996 on the track. I'm also trying to keep up with my family's busy boxing, soccer and jiu-jitsu schedule. I'm so proud of my two young kids, and I can't wait to teach them how to make some noise on their motorcycle one day - when they're ready!
