I wear a number of hats across the public and private sectors (and in between), but all of my interests and activity revolve around my love of building cities and creating economic opportunity. As the Director of Business Development for NYCEDC, I have the awesome responsibility of leading NYC's business attraction, expansion, and retention portfolio. Our team works globally across all industries to ensure that companies not only choose to move to and grow in NYC, but are able to take advantage of the enormous opportunities that the global financial capital provides. Please reach out if you or your client are interested in site selection, workforce development consultation, financial incentives or our other services. You can learn more about us at edc.nyc/business-development. My background was formed by bootstrapping and spearheading an array of dynamic PPPs in NYC including the South Shore Business Improvement District and the New Dorp Business Improvement District. I previously served as the Executive Director of the Staten Island Business Outreach Center (SIBOC) and as the Executive Director of the Forest Avenue Business Improvement District. In addition to my day job, I served over 10 years in the US Army National Guard, most recently as an infantry Company Commander. Currently, I serve as an Innovation Officer in the US Army Reserves and consider it a great privilege to be able to maintain this as a major part of my life. Finally, I'm a proud partner of a real estate investing company, Vir Fidelis LLC, focusing on multifamily opportunities in New York State.
