Daniel Clem is currently responsible for overseeing 7 different projects running simultaneously at the Capistrano Unified School District. He works in conjunction with the District to ensure that the plans and specs have been designed in accordance w/ District standards and that the work is being constructed per plans and specs.Daniel is overseeing the Lennox School District bond program and is currently working on a $24M CM-Multiple Prime project adding 4 new buildings to 4 different campuses. Daniel serves as the Director for TCM's Los Angeles Community College District project management contract that provides a variety of diverse services on this $3.5B program to build and modernize 9 community college campuses. Our services have included management of a large scale student intern program, relocation support services, financial management and auditing, construction management and public relations. Daniel is serving as TCM’s direct contact with LAUSD and the construction management program office. This is a $19.2 billion school construction and renovation program that will deliver new and modernized school facilities. Our services are to provide construction management oversight in any capacity assigned to us by the client.Daniel is providing oversight of a team of employees working as the Program Manager directly responsible for construction management, financial and technical analysts in response to Hurricane Sandy. As a part of his duties, Daniel attends meetings with the stakeholders of GOSR and provides feedback of the performance of the contractors while assisting GOSR in the coordination of priorities for each of the assigned contractors. A large part of TCM’s services include financial analysis, technical analysis, and data analysis as well as overall construction management for this $3.8 billion disaster relief program.

As Project Manager/Engineer for TELACU Construction Management, I supported the Project Team with pre-construction, construction, and close-out activities at both Hawthorne High School and Leuzinger High School. In addition, I was also responsible for assisting with the design, construction, and close-out activities of the projects and future phases of the campuses.I provided technical and engineering support to my Project Managers while managing the Architect for timely and accurate responses to requests for information. Confirmed contractor’s maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments to the Contractor.Documented daily activities of the general contractor and the subcontractors to track progression of the overall project.Coordinated with surveying, testing and inspection staff.Made field checks on construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration addition or repair projects to determine compliance with job specifications and plans.Prepared written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines related to project file maintenance and document control.Reviewed submittals for conformance to plans and specifications.Reviewed and evaluated the baseline schedule to the monthly schedule updates to evaluate if the contractor is hitting milestone dates set forth in the baseline schedule.Assisted in the review and processing of the monthly pay application for the general contractor.Assisted in coordinating meetings between site administrators, school personnel, parents, and community representatives to organize construction plans from pre-construction to post- construction and close out.Assisted in review of submittal procedures, RFI’s and monthly invoices.
