  • Lead in Respiratory Department. Teams with supervisory control of all things related to the team’s roles and responsibilities, performance evaluations, coaching, daily work prioritization, and growth and development.• Oversees activities of Respiratory Care staff and clinical care on a day-to-day basis; including but not limited to, scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage for patient care, clinical patient care, interdepartmental collaboration, interview participation and hiring of staff as needed, providing input into, and may administer performance evaluations and counsel staff as necessary.• Proactively develops and maintain cross departmental relationships with other departments and staff including marketing, billing, customer service, regulatory, executive leadership, business development, and nursing, to assist in coordination of care, best practice management, synergy development, and overall successful operations. • In addition to maintaining supervisory tasks, additional referral support is provided through coordination or Coordinator of the Day (CODing). CODing duties include (but are not limited to) full coordination of the department from daily setups to clinical questions across the company. The CODing environment is a very fast passed environment that requires a high level of success in time management, delegation, communication, and customer service skills. • Participates in and/or serves as Respiratory department liaison for committees, department meetings, manager driven events, and conferences.• Ensures quality control and proper auditing within the department related to billing, documentation, infection control, or other related matters; including reporting and following up with those not following the policy.
