As a Research Software Engineer within the Centre for Geospatial Applications at PML I work with scientists and technical experts to translate research ideas into high quality software and services, ensuring computational resources are used as efficiently as possible. I work primary with geospatial data from a range of sources, including aircraft and satellite and using a range of techniques, including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, to generate useful products.I manage the NERC Earth Observation Data Acquisition and Analysis Service (NEODAAS) which supports researches through the provision of data, training, and support applying AI techniques to large EO datasets.
