Started working at Homebase at 16 years of age and had no clue what I wanted to do as a career. During my time there I experience 3 store managers and numerous team leaders. I have seen first hand how different management styles effect employees in different ways; This lead me to realise that the career path I want to pursue is Store Manager or a higher position. I have recently been made redundant and during the closure process, I was the representative for the whole of the shop floor team. I am looking for a full-time role which will give me the ability to climb up the ranks and have a positive effect on employees.
