Identified and arranged transfer of the support equipment necessary to support an unscheduled loan of two F-35 aircraft to provide mission systems test capacity to the System Development and Demonstration effort. Directly contributing to significant life cycle cost reduction through coordination in the designation, development, testing and deployment of current Department of Navy support equipment to be used in lue of purchasing additional support equipment for the F-35 aircraft. Initiated changes in tool control management for the F-35 program resulting in a life cycle sustainment cost savings of an estimated $180 million over the life of the program.Developed plans for and directly oversaw the reorganization and modernization of the Maritime Preposition Forces (MPF) and Maritime Preposition Program Norway (MCPP-N). Coordinated with members of the Government of Norway, Marine Forces Europe, Marine Forces Pacific, Marine Forces Command, and multiple offices within HQMC as the US Aviation Sub-group Co-chair for the Program Management Group for Marine Corps Preposition Program Norway. -

Decreased the Maritime Preposition Force (MPF) support equipment deficits by more than $42 million and redistributed $21.8 million in assets to support critical fleet shortages through aggressive program management. Planned, organized and directed the rewriting of program planning documents for the preposition programs and provided updates to the Weapons System Planning Documents for all type model, series aircraft within the Marine Corps. Identified shortfalls in the support equipment repair and rework process resulting in a 40% increase in asset availability rate while ensuring no increase to the sustainment budget was incurred. Assisted in planning life cycle logistics and risk reduction effort for complex acquisition programs as a member of several Integrated Product Teams, the Aviation Logistics Transition Task Force, and the F/A-18 Integrated Maintenance Review Board. -
