Current focus is on the implementation of Digital Engineering across an enterprise, and the execution of systems engineering and digital engineering on a Concept Phase program. I began my career in missile defense but have also worked UAS, rotary aircraft, space systems, hypersonics, networking, and prototyping. In that time I have trained and mentored junior SEs, lead architecture design, managed TDPs, chaired hardware and design working groups, and crafted a specialty within MBSE with a focus on bringing modern SE practices into the organization through a model-centric approach. I have experience with both Cameo and Rhapsody in creating system architectures and relating those to requirements databases. Digital enterprise transformation is a current area of interest as many in both defense and commercial look toward utilizing SE best practices across the entire enterprise portfolio. My long term career goals are still flexible but include managing the engineering direction of a company or portfolio, teaching SE at a university, and being involved with a full digital enterprise implementation.
