I was born in Ecuador and grew up in South Florida once I migrated to the U.S in the year 2000. Culturally very proud to be Latino and fully bilingual (Spanish/English). Enjoy walking around the many great paths around the DMV as well as live music during the weekends. At this moment, I am the General Manager of a Le Pain Quotidien café/bakery in downtown D.C, while also being the Assistant to the District Manager in our market. This allows me to have hands on micro experience on the store level (7 years of direct store experience) as well as bigger picture macro projects on a market level (manpower planning, sales strategies and training/development). Our goal is to make meaningful connections, with our team and our patrons, that highlight the magic that is the making and sharing of food. I have a deep passion for my job, I am a high energy individual who is able to influence and build productive & effective cultures at work. This creates proper grounds for training & development, which is my ultimate passion. My experience in the company includes training every position, from entry Server position to incoming District Managers. It is my belief that empowering individuals and teams to have ownership translates to growth and prosperity to any company.
