I have worked within the railway industry for over 30 years and although spending some of that time in the regional and route asset management teams, much of my experience has been within the maintenance organisation. In that time, I have gained a broad knowledge of maintenance systems and processes, including those that support business management, management of Health & Safety and those skills required to manage the maintenance of assets effectively.I have a well-balanced highly skilled and experienced background in regard to engineering, management and leadership, this has furnished me with the capabilities to lead large numbers of staff in a maintenance environment. These skills and experiences range from, knowledge of industry standards and processes and an understanding of multi discipline assets, to leading organisations, which include building relationships, promoting passion, innovation, and collaborative ways of working.
