About Daniel Condliffe
I've seen various mental health issues affect my friends and family and was planning to try and do my bit to help by becoming a scientist. I spent a few years in academia where I got my Msc and Phd in Neuroscience, and even published some Alzheimer's disease research, but never really felt like what I was doing was going to actually help anyone. When Matt and I started planning out and testing prototypes for Paranimo, it was obvious this could really help people.I'm confident our new platform is going to make a difference and we have worked out some exciting plans for the future of the company.

Co-Founder And Chief Operating Officer
I started Paranimo with my Co-founder Matt in 2019 to try and create a way for people to find mental health support with as little stress as possible. Using the skills I'd developed in my PhD, I learnt to code over the next year to develop our MVP and when COVID-19 hit we realised people needed what we'd build more than ever before.I shifted my focus toward the operations of the company after we got won funding through two Innovate UK projects which allowed us to bring in a experienced developer to become CTO and build a scalable platform with the newest technology. I now handle all the operations of Paranimo.
Research Technician
I worked in the lab of Prof Jon Mill on Alzheimer's research projects. I applied various molecular biology techniques to assist with research projects performed in the lab and help with the day to day logistics of the running the lab.
