With over 18 years of experience in the fire and emergency services industry, I am a proven leader and dedicated professional who is passionate about saving lives, protecting property, and providing exceptional service to the public. I currently work as a Lead Firefighter (lieutenant) at Department of Army, where I respond to various emergencies, perform fire suppression and prevention tasks, provide medical assistance, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.In addition to my firefighting and emergency medical skills, I also have extensive training and certification in water rescue, security management, force protection, physical security, firearms proficiency, disaster response, technical rescue, and search and rescue. I have applied these skills in various roles and settings, including as a Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Team Leader and Helicopter Rescue Technician at Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, a Supervisory Security Guard at Department of the Army, and a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and Recovery Team Leader at Maryland Army National Guard. I also have experience in developing and teaching various training programs to individuals of various ages and experience levels, as well as serving in leadership positions in volunteer and military organizations.Furthermore, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Emergency Management with a concentration in Fire Science at Waldorf University. My anticipated graduation is February 2025. I am always eager to learn new skills, expand my knowledge, and pursue new challenges and opportunities in the emergency management field.
