  I am an attorney with over 30 years' experience in a specialized civil practice in international transactions and litigation involving agriculture. I represent family businesses from Mexico and the U.S. involved in growing and distributing fresh fruits and vegetables as well as general agribusiness and ranching. I negotiate and draft export and import agreements for distribution of perishable agricultural commodities grown in Mexico and distributed worldwide. Our firm has contacts within Mexico for legal assistance in preparing and filing and recording security instruments and agreements related to these distribution agreements, and specifically under the Registro Unico de Garantias Mobiliarias (R.U.G.). I also work with families in succession planning for their family businesses, working closely with tax planning counsel and accountants.I form corporations, limited liability companies for clients and also work on commercial real estate transactions. I am admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Arizona; the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
