My employment within the John Lewis Partnership is my longest and most consistent experience in my career history. Not only have I learnt new skills whilst coming to value the principles of working within a reputable and successful business, the experience has also enhanced my confidence. This has developed through interacting with many customers with various different traits of personality on a regular basis. One of the main skills I have learnt is how to respond quickly in terms of problem solving when a situation occurs, placing excellent customer service at the epicentre of every decision I make.

My employment within Next was my first proper insight into being a part or a large corporation and contributing to the success of the business. The experience instilled a sense of good time management and prioritising deadlines, as I was simultaneously in my final year of studying A level Law, Economics and History at college. I feel that the experience was definitely an overall net benefit to my career history as a whole, as it was my first taste of leasing with many people within a working environment in a short time.
