In this rotational program, I was responsible for monitoring, credit reviews and renewals, and credit underwriting in Middle Market, Business Banking, Portfolio Monitoring, and Private Banking.● Underwrote more than $90,000,000 in new and renewed credit transactions through detailed credit analysis and deal structuring; worked closely with relationship managers to develop a loan and covenant structure that effectively protects the bank’s assets without placing an undue burden on the operations of the borrower.● Jointly monitored credit risk and collateral sufficiency across KeyBank’s Rocky Mountain and Northwest C&I credit portfolios, totaling more than $10 billion.● Worked with peers and segment credit officers to create process maps in order to improve the portfolio monitoring process.● Trained incoming classes of credit analysts on credit acumen, commercial credit product offerings, as well as internal systems and processes.
